Networked Learning

Lesson goals and objectives

This module will:

  • Give you a starting point for exploring networked learning.

While the concept is not completely well defined, it provides a useful focus on connecting the learning to others and other information.

  • In an entrepreneurship course students hear from experts, work on open-ended assignments and present to a jury of real-world investors. This connects their learning to others, provides more realistic assignments and motivation.

Top Tips

  • Can you connect the insights of your course to other courses (e.g. by visualizing how courses connect)?
  • Can you connect the course content to what is relevant for the learners (e.g. using their language, their career ambitions)?
  • Can you make the course concepts more relevant by including “real-world” examples, assignments, projects?
